David St. Onge was the gaffer on 24. He also worked on The Rookie and the Redemption telefilm.
He has had a long career since the 1980's, having served as the chief lighting technician on shows such as The Pretender and Once and Again.
Role on 24[]
St. Onge succeeded Giovanni Lampassi as the gaffer after the first episode of 24, and continued to work on the show until Season 8.
He also had several cameos on the show:
- His picture briefly flashed up on Nina Myers's computer in "Day 1: 11:00pm-12:00am" as she was deleting her files
- Another picture of him was used during the facial identification of Viktor Grigorin in "Day 5: 5:00pm-6:00pm".
- David's name was included in at least one list on-screen: see David St. Onge (character) for the information on this mentioned character.
