Genba uploads the hitman's details to CTU
Genba drives through the streets, stopping and parking in a side lane. He calls CTU and sends iris and fingerprint data from one of the assassins. He asks for the man's identity and background information.
At the World Furniture Center, Rikka Shido gets a call from Genba and tells him that Miyu called her from a party, but didn't say where she was. She says that Miyu sounded strange, saying "I love you". Rikka says that Yogo Hakozaki is going to take her home, but Genba tells her to stay at the store. Rikka is unsure, and Genba asks to speak to Yogo, telling him that it's likely the girls will return to their car. Yogo agrees.
Tamizo Kanbayashi reminds Nanami Hikawa they agreed he would pay her 100 million yen for Tsunehiko Minagawa's ID, and questions her request of another 100 million. Ayako Tani says the money is not enough for blowing up a plane, but Nanami tells her to be quiet. Tamizo tells Nanami to teach her how they work. He goes into a back room, and the assassin tells him he needs to leave, but Tamizo tells him to wait a little longer.

Tadashi Kindaichi stops Yuta leaving the hotel
Shigeko Isomura asks Yohei Asakura why Urara would disappear on such an important night. Yohei tells her to get some rest, and she goes off to bed. Yukiya Soma reports to Tadashi Kindaichi that security is tight and they are looking out for Asakura's car. Yohei enters and asks Kindaichi what is different about this threat, compared to the many others she has received. Kindaichi explains that they are not called in for normal threats, and Yohei says they should have sorted the threat out sooner. Kindaichi explains they are tracking her car via GPS. Yuta Asakura then tries to leave to find his mother, but Yohei stops him and Kindaichi blocks the door, explaining that members of the Asakura family may also be targeted.
At an airport, Go Samejima parks his van and makes a call to Tamizo Kanbayashi. Miyu comforts Suzu as she cries in pain over her broken arm. Tamizo tells Go he is running late, but promises to deliver his 3 million Yen once Go hands over Miyu. Miyu asks Kenya Hasebe to take Suzu to a hospital, but Go refuses. Ken asks him for painkillers, and Miyu goads them, causing Go to attack her. Ken pulls Go away, telling Miyu to be patient, and telling Go not to order him around. Frustrated, Go gives him the painkillers, which Ken hands over to Miyu to give to Suzu.

Urara Asakura is confronted by two hoodlums
Two hoodlums make their way into an underground parking lot where Urara Asakura is waiting in a car. One of them smashes the window of a car with a bat, so Urara steps out and shouts at them to stop. The delinquent explains that he must be paid 100,000 yen for parking, before swinging his bat at Urara, who steps out of the way. His partner then recognises her as a Prime Ministerial candidate, and the hoodlum asks her to give him money as he is unemployed. Urara explains that if he wants money, he needs to work for it, which will make him grow as a human being. The hoodlum swings his bat at Urara again, before laughing in her face and walking away.

Genba briefs Sumire on the key card
Genba Shido arrives back at CTU, and calls Itsuki Mizuishi from across the room, telling her he will be back soon. He asks her to take the passenger list to his office and wait for him there. She gets the list from Takumi Nanjo, who tells her that a first class passenger was travelling under an alias. After she has gone up to the office, Genba sneaks over to Sumire Akechi, who asks who died at Minato Plaza. He gravely informs her that Heisuke Satonaka was one of them, and she tearfully recalls that Satonaka was like a father to her son during a surgery. Genba tells her she is the only one he can trust, and explains that the card key that Itsuki made is connected to the assassination plot. He asks her to pull the data off the card, and confirm that Itsuki was indeed the traitor who made it to smuggle information out of the building.
He then makes his way up to his office, and looks over the passenger list with Itsuki. She questions why he left without saying what he was doing, and why he is keeping secrets from her, and he asks if she believes there could be a CTU employee involved in the assassination plot. She asks if he has a lead, but he answers evasively. As she leaves, Sumire gestures that she has not finished, so Genba calls Itsuki back, asking about her relationship with Nanjo. Sumire then calls and confirms the card came from Itsuki's computer. Itsuki leaves, telling him that Rikko called about Miyu. Genba then gets a call informing him that the fingeprint of the assassin is not on the database, but there is a possibility the data has been erased by someone.

Ayako persuades Nanami
Ayako explains to Nanami that she upped their price to help them both, and kept it from her as she knew she would oppose the idea. Nanami says she could be killed, but Ayako says they won't kill her without the ID card.

Miyu and Suzu escape
Go and Ken are smoking, with Go complaining that he needs the money from Tamizo as soon as possible. Miyu silently wakes up Suzu, who is disoriented from the painkillers, and tells her they need to escape. They sneak out of the van and run away, but Go and Ken hear them climbing over a fence. They chase after them, as the girls run into the night.
At CTU, Sumire enters Genba's office, and they discuss Itsuki's guilt. Genba is unsure of it, and says they should not shut down her access. Sumire says they have too much evidence not to act, and asks about Genba's relationship with her. He explains that he dated her while separated from his wife, but did not tell her any confidential information. He says that he trusted her, and agrees to shutting down her access. As Sumire leaves, she promises not to tell anyone about their relationship.

The prositute takes Miyu's watch
Miyu and Suzu run into a container yard, where they find a male prostitute with a customer. The customer runs away, and the prostitute asks the girls for 5,000 yen compensation. Go and Ken then appear, and the girls hide behind a container. The prostitute plays dumb, pretending not to have seen them, before directing Go and Ken in the wrong direction. Go answers a call from Tamizo, as the prostitute confronts the girls and takes their jewelry and bags. He then retreats into a makeshift shelter, and the girls follow him in as their only escape from Go and Ken.
Nanami tells Tamizo she will give him the ID card, and he summons Ayako.

Jyoshu promises to take care of the situation
In the parking lot, Jyoshu arrives and Urara exits her car. She explains to him that the newscaster Yamashiro Madoka called her claiming that the kid who raped her daughter, who was purported to have committed suicide, was in fact pushed to his death by her son Yuta. Jyoshu dismisses the claim as fake news from the opposing party, but Urara is worried that the news will cause her daughter to have to relive the case from two years ago. Jyoshu tells her he will deal with it, and Urara tells him that he cannot just run a fake story of his own. He promises to keep Madoka quiet until the election is over. As the security police arrive to pick up Urara, Jyoshu disappears, saying he will contact Urara within the hour.

Miyu asks the prostitute for help
Tamizo transfers the additional 100 million yen into Nanami's account, and Ayako says she will take him to the ID card. Tamizo radios for his men, but Nanami informs him that only the three of them will go. She frisks him, and he tells her it is the last time he will work with her.
Miyu and Suzu make their way down some stairs and enter the prostitute's makeshift living area. They ask for his help to get away from Ken and Go, but he takes out a knife and begins inspecting Miyu's expensive clothes. He says he will help them if they take him in as a guest, then shout at them to get out. Miyu explains that they have been kidnapped and Suzu's arm is broken, but he again tells them to leave.

Genba confronts Itsuki
At CTU, Itsuki is drinking coffee when Genba enters and asks how long she has been playing him. She is confused, and he asks about the key card and accuses her of stealing confidential information. She denies it, and he asks who her real boss is. He explains that the key card was made at her terminal, but she maintains her innocence and is shocked that Genba would suspect her.

Miyu is grabbed by the pimp
Takumi Nanjo sees a bulletin announcing Heisuke Satonaka's death, and asks Sumire to get more details about it. She tells him she is busy, and Nanjo watches as Genba takes Itsuki up to his office. Genba then calls Sumire asking for her results, and Nanjo observes the interaction with curiosity.
Miyu and Suzu are hiding, but Go senses they are near. He investigates a boiler room, saying he can smell their perfume, before Ken spots them running out the back. The girls run into a pimp named Nakata, and ask for his help, but he responds by asking Suzu to pay with her body. Miyu protects her, asking Nakata for his phone, but he grabs her and throws her into his car. The prostitute then appears and hits him with a pipe. Miyu takes the phone and they run, as Go appears and attack the prostitute, while Ken continues chasing the girls.

Nanami is in the crosshairs
A car pulls up to a small shrine in the woods, and Ayako tells Tamizo to stop there. They get out, and she retrieves the ID card from behind the shrine, giving it to Tamizo. He goes back to his car, as a shot rings out and Ayako falls to the ground. Nanami is distraught, and Tamizo tells her he has one more job for her. She agrees to it, and the assassin disassembles his sniper rifle. Tamizo tells Nanami he had no choice but to kill her.

Takumi Nanjo calls internal investigations
Sumire shows the logs of the key card data being written from Itsuki's personal computer, at 22:14 on June 20th. Itsuki notes the date as the third weekend in June, which causes Genba to dismiss Sumire. After she leaves, Genba says that he and Itsuki were travelling together on that date, and realizes that she must have been set up. He apologises, and she says he is terrible for trusting the card more than her, before leaving. Nanjo watches her storm back to her desk, before calling the internal investigations branch and asking them to send someone to investigate and dismiss Shido.
In a car wrecking yard, Miyu calls her mother and asks for help, explaining that she has been kidnapped.
