Deena Dill (born March 30, 1970; age 50) is an American actress that played Rita Cullens during Season 3 of 24.

Biography and career Edit

Deena Dill was born and raised in Dayton, Tennessee. She is the daughter of business owners James and Phyllis Dill. Although she was named Deanna Francine Dill at birth, her parents always pronounced it as "Deena". A few years after college, Dill changed the spelling of her first name when she joined the Screen Actors Guild. Deena has a brother, Jim. They both attended Frazier Elementary School, Dayton City School, and Rhea County High School.

After high school, Dill attended Vanderbilt University, where she was an NCAA Division I triple jumper and 100-meter hurdler and also a varsity cheerleader. She was named to the SEC Academic Honor roll all four years of college. Dill was elected Homecoming Queen her senior year at Vanderbilt. She graduated Cum Laude and was honored with the Peabody College Outstanding Senior Award. Dill went on to serve on Vanderbilt University's Peabody College Alumni Board of Directors.

After graduation, Dill received a modeling contract in Italy. She moved to Milan and modeled for CornSilk makeup, Hanes, and Gottex swimwear. During college, she had started her acting career, appearing in the film Heavy Weights. After returning from Italy, she continued acting, appearing in films like Coach Carter (with Vincent Laresca), and Dirty Grandpa. She has also appeared in TV shows like Suburgatory, iCarly, Boston Legal, and Diagnosis Murder.

Since 2007, Dill has been working as a producer and writer.
