Deepak Patil was a power station technician who was bribed by Bala Ravindran during Day 1.
Deepak worked for the Maharashtra Electricity Board at Kandivali power station. Bala Ravindran got in touch with him and offered to pay a large sum of money in exchange for him turning off the power to a bridge at Mahatma Gandhi National Park on Day 1. Deepak called Bala's phone just after 5pm, asking if he had the money ready, and then set up a meeting at Eden Park.
He arrived at the park shortly before 6pm, however Jai Singh Rathod was posing as Bala. Deepak explained to him that he would be turning off the power to the bridge at 7:20pm, but when Jai questioned where the bridge was, Deepak realised he was speaking to an impostor. He grabbed Jai's suitcase and ran, chased by Jai, but as he fled he was shot and killed by Saxena. ("5:00pm-6:00pm")
