Denden (born January 23, 1950 as Yoshihiro Ogata) is a Japanese actor who played the role of Jyoshu in the Japanese version of 24.
Biography[]
Denden was born in Chikushino, Fukuoka, in Japan. After high school, he moved to Tokyo to study with Kiyoshi Atsumi. At the age of 30, Denden started working as a comedian, while also appearing in feature films and TV shows.
Through his career, Denden has appeared in feature films like Something Like It, Unlucky Monkey, Godzilla 2000, Tokyo Sonata, Cold Fish, Sake-Bomb, Yakuza Apocalypse, Silent Rain, and Not Quite Dead Yet. Aside from films, he has also appeared in TV shows like Keizoku, Pazuru, Moteki, Tokyo23: Survival City, Beautiful Rain, Amachan, The True Culprit, Death Office, and Unsung Cinderella.
