A District Director was a position at District with authority over a CTU Domestic Unit and its Director. District Directors answered to a District Manager. ("Day 1: 3:00am-4:00am")

George Mason was a District Director during Day 1. He was brought into CTU Los Angeles shortly after midnight to provide Jack Bauer with access to secured data nationwide for his investigation into the assassination attempt on David Palmer. After the events of Day 1, Mason was demoted for going through with the trade of Alexis Drazen for Jack Bauer on his own authority and was made the director of CTU Los Angeles.

Ryan Chappelle	Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3	Deceased
Ryan Chappelle was a District Director whose agendas at CTU LA often brought him into serious conflict with Jack Bauer. He was always "by-the-book" until the Cordilla virus crisis of Day 3; on that day President David Palmer acquiesced to the demands of Stephen Saunders and had Jack kill Chappelle, in order to save large swathes of the American population.

Vaughn	Day 2	Alive
Vaughn was a District Director during Day 2, who congratulated Ryan Chappelle on CTU's successful handling of the Los Angeles nuclear attack conspiracy.
