Dominic Comperatore was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Comperatore began his career performing in theater plays in New York. Eventually, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television. In the late 90's, Comperatore appeared in several short films.

Through his career, Comperatore has appeared in TV shows like The Shield (with Benito Martinez), CSI: Miami (with Rory Cochrane, Silas Weir Mitchell, and Christina Cox), Entourage (with Kevin Dillon and Rhys Coiro), Windfall (with Sarah Wynter), Blue Bloods, and The Good Wife (with Zach Grenier).
