Don Fagenson was the co-pilot scheduled to fly diplomatic Flight 520 with Stan Cotter from Los Angeles to Frankfurt during Day 5.

Fagenson was replaced at the last minute by Scott Evans through the influence of Christopher Henderson, who wanted Evans to escape the country with an audio recording. When Jack Bauer reminded the pilot Cotter about how suspicious the replacement of Fagenson was, Cotter realized that Evans was a criminal and opened the cockpit door for Jack.
