Athan A. "Duppy" Demetrius (born May 21) was a writer and producer's assistant on 24. Demetrius also wrote the script for 24: The Game.

Biography and career Edit

Duppy Demetrius was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He started his career as a production assistant in TV movies like Brink! and Horse Sense, and TV shows like FreakyLinks. In 2001, he started working on 24 where he stayed until 2006.

After working on 24, Demetrius has produced and written episodes of The Closer and Major Crimes. He currently serves as executive producer on the latter.

Role on 24 Edit

Demetrius started working on 24 on the second episode as an assistant to the producers. He continued to do so all through Season 2. During that season, he also wrote Day 2: 5:00am-6:00am. After that, Demetrius was also in charge of the script for 24: The Game. He continued to write several episodes of Season 3, Season 4, and Season 5. During Season 5, Demetrius also worked as a story editor. Demetrius was also credited as a writer for one episode of the Indian version of 24.
