Elemu was the right-hand man of Colonel Iké Dubaku in his urban storefront hideout at the green grocery shop, located at 12451 Arlington Avenue, during Day 7.

Day 7

At 3:00pm, Elemu and the store cashier met Edward Vossler behind the store, and asked Vossler if he was sure he hadn't been followed. He helped Vossler bring Henry Taylor, who had been bound and gagged, into the hideout. Dubaku soon arrived and had Elemu remove Taylor's gag to converse with him. Elemu then activated a scrambling device to permit Dubaku to attempt to threaten President Taylor. When Taylor did not immediately give in to Dubaku's demands, Dubaku ordered Elemu and the other men to chop off Henry's finger. Later, Elemu reported that he couldn't get Taylor's bleeding to stop completely. Dubaku told him to simply seal the wound with a blowtorch from another terrorist, Mikali, and ignored Elemu's concerns that this would put Taylor in shock.

At 3:48pm, Elemu received a report from their source in the White House that Matobo was just placed in a vehicle and sent off. (The source did not know this was actually a Secret Service Agent Masden in disguise.) Elemu proudly reported that Taylor had given in to his demands, and that even the American fleet was retreating from Sangala. They were interrupted by a call from Rosa. When Dubaku was threatened over the phone by her, he informed Elemu that he was going to "take care of a little problem", and departed with a pistol, ordering Elemu to call him when Matobo was turned over to them. Instead, Dubaku soon called Elemu, informing him that Matobo was never turned over, and ordered him to execute Taylor. The cellar was raided seconds later by Jack Bauer and Renee Walker, and Elemu and the other men were all gunned down. As Elemu collapsed from multiple gunshot wounds, he fired one round into Taylor's midriff, seriously wounding the First Gentleman.
