Eulyn Hufkie

Eulyn Colette Hufkie was the costume designer on 24: Legacy.

Biography and career

Eulyn Hufkie was born in Cape Town, South Africa. Her grandmother was a seamstress and Eulyn worked at her factory during school holidays. Eulyn credits her talent for costume design to her grandmother. In 1994, Hufkie graduated from South Peninsula High and went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Cape Town. Although she was discouraged from being a costume designer, she remained determined and studied with top designers like Dicky Longhurst.

Eventually, Hufkie's designs caught the attention of major commercial producers. She went on to do costume design for brands like Nescafé, M&M's, BBC, and others. Eventually, she moved to the United States and started working as a wardrobe assistant and set costumer. From 2011 to 2016, she worked as a costume designer on AMC's The Walking Dead. Since 2018, Hufkie's been working on the TV show The Resident.
