Farhad Salim

Farhad Salim was an intelligence agent from Afghanistan during Day 2.

Day 2

Salim and Ambassador Shareef met with President David Palmer and Lynne Kresge to discuss the terrorist activity of the group known as Second Wave. They requested an intelligence sharing with the United States. NSA director Roger Stanton was highly opposed to this. When Shareef and Salim left, their helicopter crashed in an apparent accident, but Stanton eventually became the primary suspect in the incident.

Background information and notes

• Although the show makers avoided naming Salim's country in dialogue, a document seen in "Day 2: 12:00pm-1:00pm" identifies it as Afghanistan.
