== ''24 Declassified'' (2005-2010) ==

In late September [[2005 productions|2005]], HarperCollins began releasing a series of ''24'' novels entitled "24 Declassified" under their [[HarperEntertainment]] imprint. The Declassified novels are mostly set prior to the first season, in the first few years after [[Counter Terrorist Unit|CTU]] was created. They follow the format of the show, with 24 chapters each covering an hour in one very eventful day. Many characters from the show appear in the novels.
