Steve Picerni (born June 8) is a stunt performer and actor who had several roles on 24.
Biography and career[]
Picerni is the son of veteran stunt performer Charlie Picerni. His brother, Chuck, is also a stunt performer.
Steve started his career as a stunt performer in the 1980s. He has worked on numerous TV shows like Tales from the Crypt, Lie to Me, True Blood, and Westworld. However, the majority of Picerni's work has been on film. He has performed stunts on films like Ant-Man and the Wasp, Furious 7, Bad Boys II, Pearl Harbor, and Se7en, among many others.
Role on 24[]
Picerni had several roles on 24:
- In Season 1, he played one of Harris's soldiers who staked out the Saugus detention center. Picerni's character loaded up his backpack with explosives, and shot dead two of the prison guards once inside the facility.
- In Season 4, he played a thug at Omar's compound who dragged James Heller into the building, and later forcibly removed his clothes.
- In Season 5, he played a CTU guard with Rick Burke who Jack Bauer attacked.
