Crescent Collectibles was a Middle Eastern antiques store located on North Collins in the De Anza district of Visalia, California. The business was actually a front for a Second Wave terrorist cell led by Mamud Rasheed Faheen.

During Day 2, Nina Myers was taken out of prison to assist on a joint sting operation with the FBI and CTU Los Angeles to capture Faheen. She entered the store, and tried to convince the store clerk to let her see Faheen. She succeeded, and at approximately 2:45pm, FBI SWAT teams raided the business, where all its workers, who were also terrorists, opened fire but were either killed or captured. Faheen was taken alive, and Nina's attempt to flee the store was foiled by Jack Bauer. ("Day 2: 2:00pm-3:00pm")

Season2 2-3pm

FBI and Jack raid Crescent Collectibles

After a fruitless interrogation of Faheen in the store's back room, Jack announced that they would take him back to Los Angeles for further questioning, then tried to take Nina off site without FBI supervision. Panicking, Nina screamed that Jack was going to kill her; eventually, Rick Phillips and his partner Harris were forced to threaten Jack at gunpoint, preventing him from getting her alone.

Unknown until it was too late, Nina had stolen a store gift card while talking to the clerk, which she later broke in half and used to slit Faheen's throat on the plane, after he gave her the address of Syed Ali's safe house. ("3:00pm-4:00pm")

Background information and notes[]

  • Crescent Collectibles was filmed at the Wells Fargo Bank at 5300 Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood. A cinema in the background advertises the 2002 Valley Film Festival. The street sign for Lankershim is visible in one shot, contradicting dialogue stating the shop is on North Collins.
