Simon Rhee (born October 28, 1957; age 66) is a stunt performer and actor who performed multiple roles during Season 6 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Simon Rhee was born in San Jose, California, but spent most of his childhood in Seoul, Korea, where he began his martial arts training. He then moved to San Francisco and then Los Angeles.

Rhee became a prolific martial artist. He is a 7th-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a 4th-degree black belt in Hap Ki Do. Through his career, he has won several championships and tournaments. He is also the owner of Simon Rhee Tae Kwon Do in Woodland Hills, where he teaches martial arts.

Rhee has appeared on Undercovers (with Channon Roe), Southland (with series regulars Michael Cudlitz, C. Thomas Howell and Regina King), Lost (with series regulars Henry Ian Cusick and Daniel Dae Kim), and The Shield (with Dae Kim again). He also appeared in Lethal Weapon 4 (with Jeff Imada) and Olympus Has Fallen (with Andy Cheng, Ron Yuan and Arnold Chon).

Role on 24[]

Rhee played two different roles during Season 6 of 24. He played one of Zhou Yong's mercenaries during Season 6 of 24. His character broke into CTU and killed the guard Benson, before he himself was shot and killed by Jack Bauer. He also portrayed one of Cheng's henchman in the oil rig in the final episode.
