This is a description of Aditya Singhania's actions on Day 2.
Day 2[]
10:00am-11:00am[]
Aditya and Prithvi play golf
On the morning of Day 2, Aditya was playing golf with his cousin Prithvi at the Royal Golf Club in Mumbai. He told Prithvi that his return to Mumbai was bittersweet, as it was the city that took away his father and sister. Prithvi then informed Aditya that Naina was planning to come and meet Aditya in person as he had been shutting her out of the party.

They finished their golf game and returned to their hotel shortly after 11am. They met Naina in the garden, and she made some disparaging comments about Prithvi, who excused himself. Aditya told her to be kinder to him, but Naina commented that she thought he would stab Aditya in the back one day.
Aditya speaks to his mother
Naina implored Aditya to help release his sister Divya from prison, but he refused. She complained that there was no-one left in her life, and Aditya offered that she could stay with him until he returned to Delhi.
A little later, Prithvi informed Aditya that Prakash Yadav wanted to see him, but Aditya did not want to. Naina offered to deal with the situation herself, saying that Prithvi could not deal with it as well as she could. Aditya agreed that she could help out.
After she returned, Aditya was summoned to the conference room by Mishra. Naina asked to come with them, but Aditya refused, and she squared off with Prithvi. Aditya told her to stay where she was or go home, and outside he apologised to Prithvi for his mother.
Aditya then got a call from his girlfriend Devyani Bhowmick, who had to cancel their lunch date as her cover doctor had not shown up. She told him she would come to him later, despite her dislike of his security; Aditya replied that she should get used to the security for when they get married.
In the conference room, Aditya met Home Minister Zakaria and Commissioner Omprakash Khurana. Shibani Mallick videoconferenced in from the ATU and explained to them that a terrorist group had possession of a biological weapon and was threatening to release it unless Roshan Sherchan was freed from prison in the next six hours.
Zakaria suggested quarantining Mumbai, and Aditya confirmed that he would not negotiate with the terrorists. He gave orders to transfer Sherchan to a high security prison, and asked where Jai Singh Rathod was. Shibani explained that Jai was on leave with a drinking problem after the death of his wife.
12:00pm-1:00pm[]
Aditya speaks to the pharmaceutical lobby
At 12pm the heads of the pharmaceutical lobby arrived at the hotel for a meeting with Aditya. He received them in a boardroom, and thanked them all for coming to sort out his proposed health bill. He explained to them that lifesaving drugs were too expensive, and he wished to fulfil his father's dream of a healthy India by subsidising prices to give everyone access to treatment.
Mr Reddy explained how much money went into producing drugs, with Mrs Rastogi confirming that lifesaving drugs were the most expensive to produce. Bhisham Bhowmick, Devyani's father, said he pharma industry was responsible for the eradication of many diseases and prices were low enough. Aditya pointed out that a cancer injection cost 90,000 Rs, and he expected that the Indian Parliament would support his health bill.
When the meeting concluded, Bhisham remained alone in the boardroom and Aditya entered to see him. He expressed a desire that the business meeting would not affect their personal relationship, and Bhisham said he often did not agree with his daughter. He assured Aditya that policy decisions would not affect their relationship.

Aditya speaks to Prithvi
At around 1:15pm, Aditya met with Prithvi who explained that Roshan Sherchan had murdered his guard Laxman Marathe while in solitary confinement. He said the ATU were searching for Kush Sawant, a boy who was carrying the virus. Devyani Bhowmick then arrived, and Aditya made to cancel their lunch date due to the situation, but Prithvi told him to keep the date as he could handle everything.
He met Devyani with her father, and administered an injection of insulin for her. They went to get lunch, and she told him she would come with him to Delhi for a few days. As they were walking to their table, Naina intercept them and asked them to have tea with her. Aditya was hesitant, but Devyani was keen.
As she poured the tea, Naina revealed she knew lots of details of Devyani's life. Aditya was concerned and they left for their meal, during which they discussed their parents. She said she agreed with her father on the health bill, as many medicines go to waste when they are freely available. Aditya tried to refuse his dessert on account of Devyani's diabetes, but she insisted he eat it. An aide interrupted them, and Devyani said he should go and deal with the situation and she would return to her hospital.
3:00pm-4:00pm[]
Aditya co-ordinates the situation
Just after 3pm, Aditya spoke to Shibani Mallick on the phone, stressing the importance of finding Kush Sawant. She assured him that they would have him soon. At around 3:30pm Aditya listened from the conference room as Raj Singh Bhakta led a raid on a warehouse and safely recovered Kush.
Prithvi told Aditya that the situation was over, but Zakaria then received a call from Commissioner Amrish Amre informing them that Jai Singh Rathod was breaking Roshan Sherchan out of prison. They questioned Shibani, who was unaware of that development, and Aditya ordered Shibani to come to the PMO and join them.
4:00pm-5:00pm[]
Aditya speaks to Govind Arekar
Shibani arrived at the conference room at 4:15pm, explaining that Jai kidnapped the son of the prison warden Girish Joshi, and used this as leverage. Aditya noted that Jai had broken the law previously when his family was threatened, but Shibani told him that Jai's family were safe. Aditya asked her about Jai's motivations, and she stressed that Jai would never betray his country.
Aditya and Prithvi then met with Govind Arekar, who explained that air traffic control and Pune law enforcement were looking for Roshan. He left to inform Amar Mane Shinde, which Prithvi was not happy with, but Aditya explained that they were in a coalition government with Mane Shinde so it was necessary. Aditya then noticed that Prithvi was receivin a lot of calls but not answering them.
Aditya gets angry with Shibani Mallick
Later, Shibania informed Aditya that Jai and Roshan had escaped. Aditya grew angry, but Shibani told him helicopters were patrolling the expressway. The other ministers said they needed to stop them from entering Mumbai, and told Shibani that she had failed.
Just before 5pm, Devyani called Aditya and told him she had a meeting with the Dean of her hospital. Aditya said he was very busy, but she said she would come and see him. Aditya then spoke to Prithvi, who was worried about the Party's image, but Aditya told him to focus on a backup plan in case the virus gets out, as he thought the danger may not be over. Prithvi then led Aditya into the conference room, excluding Shibani from the meeting.
5:00pm-6:00pm[]
Prithvi convinces Aditya to replace Shibani Mallick
In the conference room, Zakaria, Arekar and Khurana tried to convince Aditya to remove Shibani as head of the ATU, as her friendship with Jai was clouding her judgement. Aditya did not agree, but Prithvi pointed out that they needed to find out who in the ATU was assisting Jai, so Aditya agreed to bring in Siddharth Saigal from the Intelligence Bureau, but said to keep Shibani as second in command. Prithvi pointed out that Siddharth was Shibani's ex-husband.
Shibani was brought in and she asked for more time to track Jai down, but Aditya explained that Siddharth Saigal would take over as ATU chief. After Siddharth arrived and set up, he called Aditya and told him he would track Jai's calls and interrogate those close to Jai. Shibani was dismissed to return to the ATU.
Aditya ends a call from Devyani Bhowmick
Later Aditya met with Naina, who asked if they had a plan for the media. Aditya excused himself to speak to Devyani, and Naina revealed that she saw Devyani earlier with another man. Aditya asked why she was going to see Devyani, and said he didn't want to hear anything about it.
Devyani called Aditya and he warned her about his mother, apologising for her unannounced visit. Devyani explained that she was with her ex-husband Dhruv Awasthi, but Aditya told her he wasn't interested in what she was doing. Naina overheard the call, and Aditya told her he didn't want to be suspicious of everyone around him. She explained that it was her job to be suspicious, and was worried that he was being blinded by love.
6:00pm-7:00pm[]
Aditya learns the details of the sting operation
At 6:20pm, Siddharth called the PMO with Shibani, who explained that 6 months ago Jai got intelligence that Haroon Sherchan was in position of a deadly virus, and in order to deal with it they had been running a sting operation together. She described how Jai was forced from the ATU under the guise of alcoholism and joined Haroon's gang to gain his trust. She said he broke Roshan out of prison and will be present at the virus exchange where everyone can be arrested.
She apologised for her unauthorised actions, and Aditya grew angry, saying he could not tolerate people working behind his back. Shibani played a video message from Jai, and Aditya said they had no choice but to go along with the plan. He promised Shibani that when it was over, he would take action against them.
Prithvi speaks to Aditya
Prithvi told Aditya that he believed Jai and Shibani did the right thing, and they shielded Aditya from any negative fallout. Aditya told him he didn't believe the operation would succeed, and wanted to focus on finding a cure for the virus with the pharmaceutical heads.
7:00pm-8:00pm[]
Arekar told Aditya that Amar Mane Shinde was angry about the ATU secret mission, and they needed to call him to pacify him. Prithvi said that he would make the call.
Aditya considers his options
Aditya later returned to the war room and Defense Secretary Anindya Goswami introduced them to General Thambu, who would help stop the virus. ATU videoconferenced in and Siddharth Saigal told them they lost Jai's signal and were looking to recover it. Thambu said that if they didn't get it back, they wouldn't be able to cover all of the ground and would need to consider an air force strike on the entire area, to destroy the Sherchans and the virus.
Shibani argued that their troops would be killed, and Thambu explained that around 150-200 would die,h in order to save a billion. Aditya told the air force to get ready for a strike, but gave Jai until 8:30pm to restore his signal.
8:00pm-9:00pm[]
Aditya orders the missile strike
Shortly before 8:30pm, the ATU were still searching for the signal and Anindya Goswami urged Aditya to strike. He held off, but when the time came the signal was not there, so the drone took off from Pune Air Force Base. Aditya ordered it to shoot, but the tracker than comes back online, so he aborts the attack.
Siddharth Saigal then informed them that a Delta Team was following Jai's tracker to the exchange point. Aditya then took a call privately from Amar Mane Shinde, who explained he had something to say to Aditya face to face. Aditya said he was too busy, but Amar threatened to undermine his government, so Aditya informed his aide Navneet that he was going out to Mane Shinde's house. On the way out, Naina asked to speak to him, and accompanied him in the car.
Aditya sends his mother home
On the way there, Naina wondered how Aditya was unable to see Jai's plot, describing it as a conspiracy against the country. She said that Aditya needed her help to save his marriage, and Aditya then stopped the car. He ordered Mishra to take Naina home, saying she had not changed and she needed to stop pitting him against those close to him.
9:00pm-10:00pm[]
Aditya meets with Amar Mane Shinde
Aditya arrived at Mane Shinde's house at 9:10pm, and Amar met him along with his wife Antara. Amar played a slideshow of Antara and Prithvi having an affair for the past 6 months. He told Aditya to fire Prithvi or he would revoke his support from his government and Aditya would lose his power. Aditya said it was a personal matter, but Amar said he had organised a press conference in one hour, and Prithvi needed to be fired by that time.
Aditya speaks to Prithvi
Back at the PMO, Aditya confronted Prithvi about the affair. Prithvi explained that Antara was in a loveless marriage, and Amar would often beat her, and the relationship began as friendship but moved on. Prithvi said he wanted to tell Aditya but said he couldn't find the right time: Aditya said he was happy for him,and they hugged. He said he would not fire Prithvi.
Devyani called Aditya and said she would come over in 30 minutes, and she had heard he called in the pharma heads. Prithvi and Naina then entered, and Naina said she would deal with the Mane Shinde situation. Aditya said he didn't like the way she worked, but she explained she knew about skeletons in Mane Shinde's closet.
10:00pm-11:00pm[]
Aditya asks for the help of the pharma heads
Just after 10pm Aditya called Amar and said he was not intimidated by his threats, and Prithvi's personal life should have no impact on the government. He then entered the boardroom, where Prithvi had briefed the pharma heads on the terrorist threat. Bhisham Bhowmick said that despite their political differences, they would work together to help out with the national crisis. Aditya told them that they needed to find a vaccine for the virus as soon as possible.
At 10:20pm, Prithvi informed Aditya that Mane Shinde had cancelled his press conference. Aditya told the pharma heads they only had a few hours to develop the vaccine, and Dr. Reddy said it would be impossible, as vaccins take years to develop. Aditya said he knew he was asking a lot but they had to do whatever they could.
Aditya asks what Naina did
Later Aditya called Naina and asked her what she did to make Mane Shinde cancel his press conference. She told him that all that mattered was the safety of the government. He asked to see her, but she said she had an errand to run first.
11:00pm-12:00am[]
The ATU contacted the PMO after 11pm to inform them that the Sherchans were dead. Aditya congratulated them and thanked everyone for their efforts. Outside, Prithvi asked if they still needed the vaccine developing, and Aditya said that they did to save Kush Sawant and Mitali.
Aditya thanks Bhisham Bhowmick for his help
He called Devyani as she was leaving the hospital and told her he felt much better, and wanted to see her soon. At 11:30pm, Bhisham informed Aditya that the pharma heads agreed to work together on the virus. Aditya thanked him, and stressed to him the importance of finding a cure.
Just before midnight, Naina called Aditya and asked him to organise the release of Yashwant Shantaram, who was in prison for rape and attempted murder. Aditya refused, but she explained that if he did it he would be free of Mane Shinde forever. He still refused, and hung up on her. Shibani Mallick then contacted Aditya and told him that Roshan was in fact alive, and was heading to Mumbai with a vial of the virus.
12:00am-1:00am[]
Aditya and Prithvi learn of the new threat
Aditya expressed his disappointment with the ATU, saying that he no longer trusted them as they did not know where Roshan was or where he was going. He ordered them to catch Roshan quickly.
Prithvi told Aditya that Arekar, Khurana and Zakaria were on standby, and that Naina wished to speak to him. Aditya refused to talk to her, and Mishra then arrived with Devyani. He greeted her and they kissed.

Devyani was surprised that her father agreed to co-operate, and Aditya was exasperated with his mother's actions. They went for a meal, but were interrupted by Navneet with a call from Siddharth Saigal. Devyani told him to go, and Aditya learned that Jai Singh Rathod was closing in on Roshan at a club, the virus broker was in surgery after an attempted escape, and Kush and Mitali were being given painkillers. He told her that the pharma companies were working on a cure for the virus.

Aditya wakes Devyani
Aditya found Devyani sleeping on her desk, so he gently woke her up. He told her that he was still having to take lots of phone calls, but asked her to stay the night and they could have breakfast together the next day. She kissed him, and agreed to stay.
2:00am-3:00am[]
Naina recognises the man on Aditya's laptop
Shibani briefed Aditya on the virus broker, saying he entered the country under the name "Narain Paul". He agreed to speak to the Dubai authorities to help the ATU trace his Mumbai contacts. Siddharth updated Aditya on the fact that the virus had been released at the Hotel Gateway Residency and 400 people were infected.
Prithvi told Aditya that Bhisham had a potential option for the virus cure but needed samples from Australia. Naina entered, and Aditya expressed his concern that whatever she did with Mane Shinde will not last. Naina then noticed the virus broker's picture on Aditya's screen, and identified him as Dhruv, the man she saw Devyani meeting with that morning.
Aditya confronts Devyani
Aditya summoned her, and said to Naina that there must be a reason she was meeting with Dhruv. He confronted Devyani, and asked why she was meeting with Dhruv, and explained that he had been working with the terrorists to spread the virus. She was shocked.
Bhisham and Naina then joined them, and Bhisham said he always knew Dhruv was not right. Devyani continued to protest her innocence, and Aditya told her she had to go to the ATU for questioning.
3:00am-4:00am[]
Roshan outlines his demand
At 3:10am, Aditya got a call from Roshan Sherchan who explained that he was planning another virus attack, unless Jai Singh Rathod executed Shibani Mallick. Aditya refused his demand, but Roshan told him to look at the situation at the hotel before making up his mind.
Aditya called Jai and re-iterated his resolve not to negotiate with Roshan. Jai said Roshan wanted revenge on both him and Shibani, and advised Aditya to agree to the demand to buy them more time. Reluctantly, Aditya agreed and told Roshan that it would happen.
ATU tried to locate Roshan before the deadline, but to no avail. Aditya called Shibani and expressed his admiration at her courage, describing her as a model agent. Jai executed her just before 4am, and Roshan's attack was averted.
4:00am-5:00am[]
Naina talks to Aditya
Prithvi informed Aditya of Shibani's death, and he lamented the fact he was unable to save her. Prithvi reminded him of the millions of lives that were saved. Aditya called Jai and offered his sympathies, telling him to have hope. He reminded Jai of why he started the mission, and told him they had to apprehend Roshan.
The ATU discovered that Dhruv Awasthi seemed to have an immunity to the virus, so Aditya passed this onto Bhisham's team. Later, Aditya noticed his mother seemed disturbed, but she did not tell him why. He then got a call from Jai who requested an immunity agreement for Maya, Haroon Sherchan's girlfriend, in exchange for information. Aditya granted it.
5:00am-6:00am[]
Bhisham Bhowmick updates Aditya
At around 5:15am Aditya called Devyani and apologised to her for treating her like a suspect. He assured her that he trusted her, and asked her to come and see him. She said she was busy helping out with the situation at the Hotel Gateway Residency.
Aditya then spoke to Bhisham, who updated him on progress: Dr Sunny Mehta had given them samples of Dhruv's blood, and the World Health Organization was getting involved. He asked Aditya to hold off on announcing his health bill to avoid upsetting the stock exchange. Aditya told him thatthe ATU was close to catching Roshan, but Devyani was not speaking to him. Bhisham said he would go to the hotel to convince her to get in touch.
6:00am-7:00am[]
Aditya notices Bhisham coughing
Shortly after 6am, Mishra informed Aditya that Amar Mane Shinde had died of a heart attack. Prithvi was shocked, and Aditya told him to go with Naina to the house.
Bhisham Bhowmick then arrived at the PMO and he and Aditya spoke to Dr. Lynn of the World Health Organization. During the call, Bhisham started coughing and excused himself. He claimed he was just choking on water and said he had to get back to the lab. He told Aditya that Devyani was annoyed, and that he should talk to her.
He spoke to Devyani later, and she told him the situation at the hotel was a tragedy. He apologised again about Dhruv, and asked her to come over. She said she would after briefing some new volunteers at the hotel. Just before 7am, Siddharth Saigal told Aditya that Roshan had escaped again. Aditya was incredulous, and told him to increase security on Roshan's daughter, who the ATU had in custody.
7:00am-8:00am[]
Aditya speaks to Anindya Goswami
Aditya called Mishra into his room and asked him to give Devyani security clearance for a visit. He then started coughing, so asked Mishra for some warm water and cough drops.
The ATU was planning to use Roshan's daughter in a deal to lure him into the open. Anindya Goswami told Aditya that they should not negotiate with Roshan, instead blowing up his plane as he tried to leave, but Aditya explained he was giving Jai time to complete his mission.
Aditya becomes symptomatic
When Devyani arrived, she told him that as she was affiliated with a terrorist, she thought they should no longer see each other as it would be bad for his image. Aditya said he didn't care what people thought. Devyani noticed he was showing signs of a fever, and his nose started to bleed, indicating it was the virus. He told her to stay away, and Mishra informed him other staff at the PMO were symptomatic. Aditya ordered the lockdown of the PMO, and apologised to Devyani for calling her there. Devyani then found out that Bhisham's suit was faulty at the hotel, and he passed the virus on to Aditya.
8:00am-9:00am[]
Aditya coughs in bed
Devyani and Aditya were then sent to Seven Hills Hospital and Aditya was isolated in quarantine. At 8:20am, Prithvi and Naina came to see him. He asked them to be strong, and said he wished for Prithvi to become acting PM, as the party needed a strong leader. Naina told him he was in no state to be making decisions, but he told her to set aside her differences with Prithvi and support his last decision.

Devyani tends to Aditya
Aditya continued to be treated while Naina watched over him. Devyani entered later, and tended to him, giving him medicine to help with his pain. Sunny Mehta called a contamination alert and escorted Devyani out of Aditya's room, at the request of Jai.
Jai then visited Aditya's room and told him Roshan was dead, but the mission was not over. He explained that Devyani was Dhruv's co-conspirator, as she had the same antibodies as Dhruv in her blood. Aditya did not believe him, and asked him to bring Devyani to them.
When she arrived, Jai accused her of poisoning Dhruv in his hospital bed, and she fainted. Sunny Mehta said she needed insulin, but Aditya told them that he had injected her with it twice already that day. Jai then realised that the insulin pen contained antibodies, given to her by her father. Jai arrested Bhisham, and found his source of antibodies, which were administered to Aditya.
