Biography and career[]
Forbes Riley was born in Long Island, New York. Her father was an inventor. When she was 16 years old, she was named Miss Teenage New York. Riley attended Oceanside High School. Since she skipped a grade there, Riley went to the University of Rochester at a young age. She graduated in 3 years with two degrees: Political Science and Film Studies.
Riley began her career in 1982, appearing in the film Splitz. After that, she has appeared in films like Splatter University, Phoenix (with Leland Orser), Shadow of Doubt (with James Morrison and Tony Plana), Megiddo: The Omega Code 2 (with Greg Ellis), and Ghosts of Genius.
Aside of films, Riley has appeared in TV shows like Sibs, The Pretender (with Patrick Bauchau and Jon Gries), The Practice (with DB Woodside), V.I.P. (with C. Thomas Howell), Seven Days, and The Huntress.
Riley also appears frequently on infomercials, and is often seen live on HSN and QVC. She has also been a spokesperson for Jack LaLanne's Power Juicer, Aerobed, Microgrill, MaxiGlide, and Mor Furniture Stores. Riley is also the designer of her own exercise device, Forbes Riley's SpinGym.
