Forest Hills was an industrial district in the Queens borough of New York City, New York.
Samir Mehran had a staging area in a warehouse in Forest Hills. The warehouse and a new complement of gunmen belonged to a businessman who supported the cause of the Kamistan splinter cell. After Samir and his men took the nuclear rods from Josef Bazhaev, they took them there. When Farhad Hassan insisted to them in taking the rods out of the country, Samir and his men informed him that they had plans to use the rods to construct a dirty bomb in an attempt to set it off in New York City after the authorities knew about their threat. This prompted Farhad to escape, but not before being injured by Ali in a struggle.
Farhad managed to hide outside the warehouse and contact CTU. A TAC team led by Jack Bauer went to Forest Hills to retrieve him. Seconds before they arrived, Farhad was shot twice by Ali. When Jack and his team arrived, they swept the area and didn't find traces of the hostiles or the rods.
