Forum: The Situation Room > 24: The game images in places in articles for people's dates

I think I will be the only one here complaining about it, but why would you place an image of a character in an article about an actor itself? That doesn't make any sense at all. The best thing that you could do is removing the image of the character of the game, unless there is a FOX-related image of the actor availiable.

It's very strange to see a character's picture being placed in a date (let's pick November 5 for example). It's better to remove it or don't having any picture at all. I think it's strange looking, but that's my opinion. I respect everybody's opionion, but I just disagree with it.

With an actor's page and a game character being placed in the article, well, that's something I see different. The game character gets by the actor in fact (in this case voiced), so it's normal to have him or her being placed in the actor's page.

But vise versa, for me it doesn't make any sense at all. Don't get me wrong, I like this Wiki a lot. :) Greets from --Station7 (talk) 23:50, November 4, 2016 (UTC)

I'm afraid I don't know what you are asking here. Is there something on the November 5 page you don't like? There's nothing to do with 24: The Game on that page that I can see. You don't like character shots being used for actors?--Acer4666 (talk) 15:32, November 5, 2016 (UTC)
I think what he meant was the 24 game characters are not live action and there is no live action shots of the actors who portrayed them. He thought that the animated head shots of the actors who portrayed them don't belong in the birth date articles or something like that. BattleshipMan (talk) 15:44, November 5, 2016 (UTC)
Can you link to an example of this on a page somewhere?--Acer4666 (talk) 15:58, November 5, 2016 (UTC)
November 29 had Tom Sizemore's character image on there. BattleshipMan (talk) 16:01, November 5, 2016 (UTC)
Cool cheers, I found a couple of others and have removed animated Game shots from actor articles, as you are right they aren't really illustrations of the actors in question. However, I think something like Chris Moyles is an illustrative pic as the character was modelled on the person.--Acer4666 (talk) 16:04, November 5, 2016 (UTC)
Yes Acer4666 en BattleshipMan that's indeed what I meant. I don't have a problem with the Chris Moyles voice actor I you ask it. --Station7 (talk) 09:08, November 6, 2016 (UTC)
