But it's just another symptom of what's always been painfully obvious: the writers go for whatever title sounds more authoritative and bureaucratic at the moment. I was never confident that the information we currently have about what ranks/office-names people held in CTU are perfectly accurate. And today an anonymous user brought something to my attention: on both the pages for Regional Division Director and Administrative Director, Ryan Chappelle is listed as holding both offices during Hell Gate.
