Forum: The Situation Room > Changes to the canon policy

Just wanted to move the discussion we started here to a more central location and hopefully get more input from the community. To sum up: I feel we should draw a clear line between what is clearly established within the series and the unofficial supplementary material from the novels and comics. This would involve either moving the EU info to a separate namespace, like Blue Rook suggested, or using templates to distinguish it from "canon" information (for an example: Christopher Henderson). --Pyramidhead 02:29, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

I usually stay away from EU stuff here because I don't read the books or comics (and am really not interested about them), but I think a important point would be what's the argument about this from the show creators, writers, producers, etc. Do they consider these books and comics canon? No, they do not. Or at least, they have yet to show any signs of incorporating them into the series, which is effectively the same thing. --Pyramidhead 05:29, May 4, 2010 (UTC)
