Was going to bring this up after I started making :Category:Featured artists with the bands/artists whose songs have been featured in the show. I think the articles should exist, they are artists related to 24 - however I think there is a distinction between people like Season Callery, John Massari, Lizbeth Scott and Armin van Buuren, and the other featured artists - in that the former wrote/performed music specifically for use in 24, whereas the other ones wrote music for other reasons that ended up in 24. So the featured artists didn't work directly on the show, I don't think should be listed as crew, and them/the band members shouldn't appear in 24 birthdays, 24 deaths or Early production history.--Acer4666 (talk) 18:49, July 17, 2016 (UTC)

:I pretty much in an agreement with you. Those pages should not have Feature artists categories and it should be with a different category. BattleshipMan (talk) 20:01, July 17, 2016 (UTC)

:Makes sense, I have no strong opinions either way - guess I just wanted an excuse to add the 1800s to the production timeline :) --Pyramidhead (talk) 02:24, July 18, 2016 (UTC)

Forum: The Situation Room > Featured artists

Was going to bring this up after I started making Category:Featured artists with the bands/artists whose songs have been featured in the show. I think the articles should exist, they are artists related to 24 - however I think there is a distinction between people like Sean Callery, John Massari, Lizbeth Scott and Armin van Buuren, and the other featured artists - in that the former wrote/performed music specifically for use in 24, whereas the other ones wrote music for other reasons that ended up in 24. So the featured artists didn't work directly on the show, I don't think should be listed as crew, and them/the band members shouldn't appear in 24 birthdays, 24 deaths or Early production history.--Acer4666 (talk) 18:49, July 17, 2016 (UTC)

I pretty much in an agreement with you. Those pages should not have Feature artists categories and it should be with a different category. BattleshipMan (talk) 20:01, July 17, 2016 (UTC)
Makes sense, I have no strong opinions either way - guess I just wanted an excuse to add the 1800s to the production timeline :) --Pyramidhead (talk) 02:24, July 18, 2016 (UTC)
