Forum: The Situation Room > Live Another Day as "Season 9"

Hi, is it all right not to refer to Live Another Day as "Season 9"? The DVD box set (of Region 1) refers to Season 8 specifically as "the complete last season." OneWeirdDude (talk) 22:29, January 27, 2019 (UTC)

I don't think we do refer to it as "Season 9" anywhere. The in-universe name for the time period, and the disambiguation of the episode titles, is "Day 9", as it is the ninth significant day in the 24 universe.
The Season 8 DVD was produced before LAD was conceived. I guess anything that proclaims itself as the "last" instalment of anything is always doomed to have that contradicted by future events (see "Saw 3D: The Final Chapter", "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare", "Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday", "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter", "The Final Destination", "Prison Break: The Final Break", etc. etc.)--Acer4666 (Talk) 23:00, January 27, 2019 (UTC)
That's fair, I can accept that. But how about Legacy as Day 10? It's not Day 10, it's Day 1 for Eric Carter. Although I guess we can wait for season 2 of the next spinoff to answer that, right? OneWeirdDude (talk) 04:20, January 28, 2019 (UTC)
We discussed this one at Forum:Day_10#In_universe_name--Acer4666 (Talk) 07:28, January 28, 2019 (UTC)
