Editing Forum:Timestamp Standard

The current timestamp standards seem somewhat un-intuitive. When the clock appears silently at the bottom of the screen in the middle of a scene or during the transition between two scenes, it feels to me like that time should be listed in italics, because it kind of sneaks in without making itself too noticeable. When it appears just before a commercial break, the screen around it goes black and it beeps loudly, interrupting the episode, which I feel should be written in bold. The current standards are used in [[Day_6_4:00pm-5:00pm|this episode guide]], and the ones I would suggest are used in [[Day_4_10:00pm-11:00pm|this one]]. 

My suggestion is that we have a vote here about whether or not to switch the timestamp standards, and then, if it is approved, we go over the existing episode guides during the next few months and change the timestamps in those guides to the ones used in [[Day_4_10:00pm-11:00pm|this one]].

: But, there is one thing which has come up, though, that wasn't accounted for so far. When considering those "silent transition countdowns" (as opposed to the intro/outtro ticking countdowns) most guides only have the final time posted. in the example guide you've linked to, all the times are present. Will you be italicizing whatever silent transition countdown content you find, or will you be actively standardizing them all by choosing either the final second or listing all the visible seconds? I recommend we still stick with the "last" visible second. Most guides are like that, and I believe it's better that way. ::I've actually noticed that it's usually the second-to-last visible second that is listed, but for the sake of making it easier, let's go with just listing one second from the silent transition countdowns, be it the first, last, or middle.
