Frank Trammell was the Chief Political Officer of the United States Embassy to Sangala during the events of Redemption.

Redemption[]

Trammell located Jack Bauer at the Okavango School with orders to extradite Jack to the United States based on torture allegations. When Jack refused to take the extradition order, Trammell spoke with Carl Benton and threatened to cut funding to his school if he didn't convince Jack depart and face the Senate.

As the army of rogue Sangalan General Benjamin Juma began to advance upon the capital city, Trammell was in charge of the evacuation of the embassy. As such he authorized who was and who was not permitted to be evacuated with the Americans. His top priority was Prime Minister Ule Matobo, who was initially hesitant to leave.

When Jack Bauer arrived to the embassy with the children from the school, Trammell told him that he wouldn't take them unless he came too, so he could be extradited. Ultimately, Jack agreed and they all left Sangala in the last helicopter to depart.
