Fraser James was born in Camden Town in London, England. He has African Caribbean heritage. James trained at The Guildhall School Of Music & Drama in Londons Barbican.
James started his acting career in the early 90's, appearing in TV shows like Drop the Dead Donkey, Casualty, The Bill, Outnumbered, Strike Back (with Philip Winchester and Rhashan Stone), Law & Order: UK, and Holby City.
