Fred Merrill Griffith (born October 1, 1964; age 55) played a doctor during Season 3 of 24.

Biography and career Edit

Fred Griffith was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He became interested in acting from an early age. Griffith participated in community theater, commercials, and short films.

Through his career, he has appeared in shows like The District and Judging Amy (with Timothy Omundson), as well as films like Gods and Generals, Ghost Town: The Movie, War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave (with C. Thomas Howell), Prisoners, and Hero.

Griffith started his own production company called Follow Your Dreams Productions.

Role on 24 Edit

Griffith played the role of a CTU doctor during Season 3 of 24. His character treated both Jack Bauer and Nina Myers in two separate occasions. Griffith appeared in one episode and was credited as a co-star. According to Griffith, he got the role on his first audition. He also tweeted to one of the Wiki 24 administrators that the show was "such a thrill for me".[1]
