Gary Hoptrough (born August 24, 1971; age 48) is a stunt performer and actor who doubled for Kiefer Sutherland in the role of Jack Bauer during 24: Live Another Day.
In "Day 9: 5:00pm-6:00pm", he drove the car during the chase to avoid Ian Al-Harazi's drone missiles.
Biography and career

Gary Hoptrough is a stunt performer, driver, and actor. He was interested in athletic and physical activities from an early age, competing in Judo, Taekwondo, swimming, skiing and BMX racing. When Hoptrough became a teenager, he started racing motocross, winning the East Anglia Junior Adult Championship and Expert Adult Championship.
Hoptrough competed in several other motocross competitions becoming one of the Top 8 riders in the country. He also competed at Federal International Motocross (FIM) World Championship and the World Championship Grand Prix Level for 2 years. Eventually, Hoptrough decided to become a stunt driver and performer, training for 3 years until getting into the Equity Stunt Register in 2001.
Some of the films Hoptrough has worked in are Children of Men, Inception, Jason Bourne, Wonder Woman, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. He has also doubled for actors like Ben Crompton, David Thewlis, Riz Ahmed, and Rafi Gavron.
