Geo Corvera (born November 8, 1977; age 46) is a stunt performer and actor who played one of Samir Mehran's terrorists during Season 8 of 24.

Biography and career

Geovanny Corvera was born in San Miguel, El Salvador. When he was 7 years old, Corvera and his family moved to the United States, specifically to the area of Washington, DC and Virginia. Geovanny developed an interest in martial arts since he was a child, and began studying the craft. At one point, he was rated Top Ten by the North American Sport Karate Association (NASKA) and the National Black Belt League (NBL).

In 2000, Corvera moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and TV. With skills in Taekwondo, Capoeira, and gymnastics, he started finding work as a stunt performer. During his career, Corvera has worked on films like Iron Man, Zero Dark Thirty, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, and Sicario, among many others.

Aside from film, Corvera has also worked on numerous TV shows like The Shield, The Unit, Entourage, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and The Last Ship.

Role on 24

Corvera played one of Samir Mehran's terrorists in "Day 8: 7:00am-8:00am". When Jack Bauer was attempting to rescue Omar Hassan from the Holland Avenue tenement, he came upon Corvera's character, and after telling him to get down, he shot him dead.
