George Marx was a SWAT team commander of the DC Metro Police Department during Day 10.

When the police discovered that Eric Carter was holding officers Paul Vernon and Tim Bates hostage in the evidence room, Lieutenant Daniels filled Commander Marx in on the situation. Marx tried to communicate with Carter, asking for his demands, but got no response. They then heard an explosion from the room, and Marx and his men breached the door and entered. Vernon told them that Carter had a gun and had escaped with Bates as a hostage. Daniels ordered a lockdown and Marx and his men cornered Carter, who held Bates at gunpoint and told the men to stand down. However, Daniels received a call from Rebecca Ingram who informed him of Carter's operation, clearing him of any charges and instructing them to assist him.
