Gina Torres played Julia Milliken during Season 3 of 24.

She is the youngest of three children and attended New York City's High School of Music and Art. In 2002, she married Laurence Fishburne. She was a regular on the sci-fi series Cleopatra 2525 and Firefly (which featured guest appearances by Gregory Itzin, Mark Sheppard and Daniel Bess) and its big-screen followup Serenity. Other credits include recurring and guest starring roles on shows such as Angel, The Shield and The Unit (with regulars Dennis Haysbert, Max Martini and Michael Irby). From 2006 to 2007, she was a series regular on the popular short-lived comedy-action series Standoff (with Michael Cudlitz). Her movie credits include the 2003 The Matrix sequels (with Harry Lennix and David Kilde) and the 2006 film Jam (with Christopher Amitrano).
