Gregory Nicotero (born March 15, 1963; age 62) was a special effects make-up artist who worked on 24.
He was uncredited for his work on the show, other than in 24: Redemption. In Season 3, he appeared as a victim of the Cordilla virus.
Nicotero has over 400 film and TV make-up credits, dating back to George Romero's Day of the Dead (1985). He is the co-founder of KNB EFX Group, who worked on 24 and whose artists have received numerous awards and nominations for their work, including from the Creative Arts Emmy Awards and Academy Awards. Nicotero is also well known as the designer responsible for the zombie effects on AMC's The Walking Dead. Since 2011, he is also a producer and has become the most prolific director on the series.
