Gregory J. Barnett (born April 17) was 24 's stunt co-ordinator for Season 3 and part of Season 2. He also appeared in several different roles on the show.

Biography and career[]

A prolific stunt professional, Barnett has over 350 such credits. Barnett has recently appeared in blockbusters such as Flags of Our Fathers and The Lone Ranger (with James Badge Dale). His son Jeffrey G. Barnett has also made multiple stunt appearances on 24.

Role on 24[]

Barnett started working as stunt co-ordinator on the show during Season 2, from episode 9 onwards. After that, he served as stunt co-ordinator for all of Season 3. During his time on 24, the show received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Stunt Coordination. Barnett was replaced by Matt Taylor for Season 4.

Aside of his role as co-ordinator, Barnett also appeared in several different roles on the show:

In Day 2: 4:00pm-5:00pm, he played the fourth one of the Coral Snake soldiers to be gunned down by Jack Bauer.
In Day 2: 8:00pm-9:00pm, he played the driver of the CTU humvee that chased Omar's plane down the runway of Norton Airfield while Jack Bauer fired from the back.
In Day 2: 2:00am-3:00am and 3:00am-4:00am, he portrayed Jesper Isberg, a Secret Service agent.
In Day 3: 5:00pm-6:00pm, he played a prison guard at the Downey Holding Facility.
In Day 3: 7:00pm-8:00pm, he played a CTU security guard that Gael Ortega pushed against a wall and punched unconscious during his escape.
In Day 3: 4:00am-5:00am, he doubled for Scott Klace as Danny when the character was shot by Michelle Dessler as he attempted to leave Chandler Plaza Hotel.
