Haaz Sleiman (born July 1, 1976; age 49) played the role of Heydar during Season 6 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Haaz Sleiman was born and raised in Lebanon. He moved to the US when he was 21 years old and quickly developed an interest in acting.
Sleiman's first credited role was in the 2004 film The Ski Trip. After that, he has appeared in films like American Dreamz (with Shohreh Aghdashloo), Futbaal: The Price of Dreams, AmericanEast (with Anthony Azizi), and Highland Park (with Billy Burke and Bob Gunton).
In 2007, Sleiman appeared as Tarek in the award-winning film The Visitor, which also stars Laith Nakli. Sleiman was nominated for an Independent Spirit Awards and an Online Film & Television Association Award, while the whole ensemble also received multiple nominations.
Aside of films, Sleiman has appeared in TV shows like NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), Nurse Jackie, Person of Interest (with Nazneen Contractor; the episode they appeared in was edited by Scott Powell), and others. He is also a theater performer and a video game voice-actor.
