Hardik was a drug dealer during Day 1.

Hardik arranged with Rahul to sell a kilogram of cocaine to Zahid at 6:30pm on Day 1. However, Rahul went missing, so Hardik followed his sister Simran to the Root Lounge. He watched her from across the bar, and saw as Veer Singh Rathod met her and invited her over to meet his friends. ("4:00pm-5:00pm")

He watched her for a little longer and then left just after 5pm. He met up with his accomplice Shashank and they broke into Simran's home, looking for the cocaine that Rahul had promised them. When Simran returned home with Veer, Hardik knocked Veer out with a cricket bat and then threatened Simran with a knife, explaining that he would not leave until he got the drugs. He asked who Veer was, and she said he was her boyfriend, so they grabbed him and asked him where the drugs were. ("5:00pm-6:00pm")

Veer did not know, and Shashank got a call from Zahid saying he was on his way. Hardik wondered where they would get a kilo of cocaine from, and Veer suggested that they prepare false drugs for Zahid and Veer would attack him for the money. Hardik agreed to the plan, telling Shashank to fill a bag with salt, and giving Veer an empty gun to threaten with. Zahid arrived, asking if they were having a party, and Hardik told him to sit and introduced him to everyone. When Shashank brought the fake drugs to him, Hardik drew his gun and had Veer take the weapons off Zahid and his friend. However, police then burst into the room and arrested them all. ("6:00pm-7:00pm")

Hardik was then taken to a jail and put in a cell with Shashank and Veer. They watched as Veer was taken out for questioning, and when he returned they stared at him threateningly. Shortly after 8pm, they approached Veer and started pushing him, blaming him for them getting arrested. As they attacked him, Veer defended himself and broke Hardik's arm. Veer was then released a short while later. ("7:00pm-8:00pm", "8:00pm-9:00pm")
