Heather Ann Nauert Norby (born January 27, 1970; age 50), a former news reporter, portrayed a fictional version of herself during Season 8 of 24.

Biography and career Edit

Heather Nauert was born in Rockford, Illinois. She attended Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. After that, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Mount Vernon College for Women. She received her Master's Degree in Journalism from Columbia University.

Through her career as a journalist, Nauert has anchored several shows like Good Day Early Call, Good Day New York Wake Up, The Strategy Room, The Big Story, and recently Fox & Friends.

Nauert is married to Scott Norby, an investment banker who works at Goldman Sachs. They have two children together. Since 2017, she has worked at the Department of State, as part of the Donald Trump administration. In December 2018, President Trump nominated Nauert for the position of Ambassador to the United Stations.
