Hendricks was the chief of the Los Angeles Police Department during Day 3.
Day 3[]
President David Palmer had his brother Wayne contact Chief Hendricks for a personal meeting. When Hendricks arrived, he updated the President on the investigation (led by Detective Norris) of the death of Alan Milliken. Palmer chose to lie to Hendricks by telling him that his ex-wife Sherry Palmer was with him all night, when in fact she had been with Alan and prevented him from taking his heart medication. Hendricks left, satisfied, but was still unsure as to why Julia Milliken incriminated Sherry.
