Howard Berger is a make-up artist who worked on special effects make-up for Season 6 of 24.
Berger was born in Los Angeles and had an interest in monster movies from a young age. After finishing school, he began working at Stan Winston Studios on films such as Predator and Aliens. In 1988, he founded the KNB EFX company along with Greg Nicotero and Robert Kurtzman. The company worked on numerous films, and Howard won an Oscar for his work on The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

KNB EFX provided many of the make-up effects for Season 6 of the show, overseen by Howard. He appears in the featurette Master Illusionists: 24's Special Effects Make-Up, explaining the process of creating the prosthetics used on the season.
