Interstate 405 (also known as the San Diego Freeway) was a major North-South freeway running through Los Angeles.

Chaos Theory Edit

At 11:54pm, Tony Almeida was following Riduan Bashir's car through Sepulveda Pass on the 405. He received a call from Jamey Farrell while driving.

At 4:41pm, Pan deliberately caused an accident on the 405, a quarter of a mile before the Mulholland Avenue exit. This caused major traffic disruptions for the rest of the day.

Day 1 Edit

At 9am, Dave Thompson reported that traffic on the 405 was not too bad, with the usual delays on the Sepulveda Pass, which loosened up at Culver.

Nina Myers told Jack Bauer that the location of Teri Bauer had been traced to an area East of the 405.

At 9:45am, Jack passed a sign for the San Diego Freeway on his way to 21500 Riverside Drive. ("Day 1: 9:00am-10:00am")

Day 2 Edit

The 405 was one of the major LA roads within the blast radius of the nuclear device, according to a presentation by Eric Rayburn. ("Day 2: 8:00am-9:00am")
