Ismail Hassan Bashey (born April 25, 1970; age 55) is an Indian actor who portrayed Hammad, the ambassador of Jordan, in 24: Legacy.
Biography and career[]
Ismail Bashey was born in Bombay, India. He began his career at a young age, participating in school productions of Shakespeare and Moliere. As he grew up, Bashey began performing on stage professionally in musical theatre productions such as Grease and Best of Broadway. He has trained in jazz ballet under the guidance of Karla Singh and Shiamak Davar.
Eventually, Bashey moved to New York to pursue a career on film and TV. He trained at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York for 3 years, while working on Asian cable channels like ITV and ATN. In recent years, Bashey has appeared in popular TV shows like NCIS, Homeland, and SEAL Team. He has also appeared in films like The Illegal, Million Dollar Arm, and The Reluctant Fundamentalist.
