Jaime Paul Gomez (born August 31, 1965; age 59) played Agent Torres during Season 8 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Jaime Gomez was born in Southern California. He went to college where he studied Art History and Literature, among other things.
Gomez began his acting career in the late 80's, appearing in TV specials and shows like Freddy's Nightmares (with Eddie Driscoll) and Generations. However, he is more known for his recurring role as Inspector Evan Cortez in Nash Bridges. After that, he has appeared in shows like The District (with Jean Smart), Hawthorne (with James Morrison), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (with Chris Mulkey), Rizzoli & Isles (with Brian Goodman), and Dexter (with Yvonne Strahovski).
Gomez has also appeared on films like Say Anything..., Philadelphia, Clear and Present Danger (with Joaquim de Almeida, Raymond Cruz, and Benjamin Bratt), Crimson Tide (with Eric Bruskotter and Ricky Schroder), and Training Day (with Harris Yulin and Raymond Cruz).
Gomez is currently working on his own projects, writing, directing, and producing.

Gomez played the role of Torres during Season 8 of 24. Torres was an agent working for CTU New York, and a friend of Cole Ortiz. Gomez appeared in two episodes, although the second episode only featured him as a corpse within the first minutes. He was credited as a guest star.
