James Cromwell

James Cromwell played Phillip Bauer during Day 6 of 24. He is best known for portraying the farmer in the movie "Babe", a role for which he was nominated for an Oscar.

• Son of noted film director John Cromwell.
• Is a Vegan and protests for the cause regularly.
• Appeared in 3 separate "Star Trek" series, as well as "Star Trek: First Contact". He has the honor of being the only actor in the history of that franchise to ever utter the words "Star Trek" onscreen.
• Cromwell has portrayed two American Presidents. In The West Wing, he portrayed Former President D. Wire Newman, and President Robert Fowler in the film The Sum of All Fears.
