James DuMont (born August 12, 1965; age 59) is an actor who portrayed Jenkins in 24: Legacy.
Biography and career[]
DuMont was born in Chicago, and raised in New York City. He attended Boston University, but then moved to New York to pursue a career in acting. DuMont made his Broadway debut in Six Degrees of Separation. After that, he also appeared in Throwing Your Voice, along with Sam Robards and Mary Louise Parker.
DuMont started his film career in 1980, with a brief, uncredited role on The Blues Brothers. After that, he has appeared in such popular films like Speed (with Dennis Hopper), Catch Me If You Can (with Frank John Hughes), War of the Worlds, Jurassic World, and Ocean's Thirteen.
Aside of films, DuMont has also appeared in numerous TV shows like NYPD Blue (with Jimmy Smits), The West Wing, Numb3rs, Nashville (with Connie Britton), and NCIS: New Orleans.
DuMont is a practicing Buddhist.
