Jane McLean was born in Manila, Philippines but raised in Toronto, Canada. She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. McLean has worked on numerous films like Levity, Shoot 'Em Up (with Wiley Pickett), and The Time Traveler's Wife. She has also appeared in TV shows like Supernatural, Defiance (with Tony Curran), and Dexter.
Since 2016, McLean has started writing scripts, winning several fellowships and competitions. She has also worked as a producer of short films and others.
