Jared Day is an American actor and stunt performer. He portrayed a bank robber in episode 1 of The Rookie.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Jared Day is from Houma, Louisiana. He studied Theater at Louisiana State University, in Baton Rouge. During his time in college, Day was part of the cheerleader team. While living in Louisiana, he studied Acting with Gary Grubbs.

Day also served in the military as part of Special Forces and Rangers. He gained experience in infantry, military vehicles, and weapons training. Day also worked as an instructor in Counterterrorism and Defensive Tactics, among other things.

During his career as an actor, Day has appeared in TV shows like E-Ring (with Benjamin Bratt, Dennis Hopper, and Jay Harik), Ray Donovan (with Jon Voight), and The Young and the Restless. He also appeared in the films Hangar Rats and Serving Sara, among several others.

Aside from acting, Day has also served in different other roles. He has worked as a stunt performer and stand-in. Day has also written and produced some short films.
