Jay Amor (born January 19, 1958; age 66) is a stunt performer and actor who portrayed a jihadi in 24: Legacy.
Biography and career[]
Jay Amor is a stunt performer and actor. He began his career in the late 70s, working on films like Buck Rogers, Crime Busters, Black Sunday, and Cheech and Chong's Next Movie. From 1985 to 1987, Amor worked as a stunt on Miami Vice.
Since the 90s, Amor has focused more on action films, working on blockbusters like The Bodyguard, True Lies, Bad Boys and Bad Boys II, Passenger 57, Con Air, Armageddon, Transporter 2, and The Mist. He also worked as a stunt driver on the 2006 film adaptation of Miami Vice.
Aside of his stunt work, Amor also has had minor roles on many of the films he has worked. He has also had brief roles on films like Ride Along 2 (with Benjamin Bratt), Escape Plan (with Faran Tahir), and Looper. Amor has also worked as a second unit director and assistant director in some films.
Amor has been married to his wife, Jessica, since 1982. They have two children together.
