Jay Pierce was a producer at the CNB news network who worked on Maureen Kingsley's show.
In the early morning of the California presidential primary, Kingsley emailed Pierce to tell him that she had come across the biggest story of the day. Some hours later, she emailed him again to say that she hadn't solidified all the details so the story would have to wait. It was later revealed that Kingsley had found out about a cover-up surrounding the death of Lyle Gibson, the rapist of Senator David Palmer's daughter Nicole. (Findings at CTU)
