Jennie was brought into the Presidential bunker in Washington, D.C. with the rest of the Cabinet when a stealth missile with a stolen nuclear warhead was launched against America. The Cabinet was addressed by President Logan twice after 4am. During the second meeting, Jennie asked the President why the F-18 Hornets were not being used to guard New York City and DC, which she believed to be the two most likely targets. David Palmer, present in an advisory role, believed that the jets should be more spread out, but President Logan took sides with Jennie and Don Ashton to assert his control. This display of power for Logan was actually orchestrated by Palmer himself in order to help Logan.
