Jennifer Shay Carta (born December 3, 1970; age 53) played a White House aide during Season 7 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Jennifer Carta trained at Circle In The Square under Alan Langdon. After that, she worked as an acting apprentice at the Actors Theatre of Louisville. Eventually, she moved to New York City to further her acting career. While in New York, Carta appeared in various Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.
Carta's first film appearance was on the independent film Kissing Jessica Stein (with Jennifer Westfeldt). After that, she has appeared on films like P.S., Bad News Bears, and Nightmare. Carta has also appeared on shows like Law & Order, Numb3rs (with Peter MacNicol and Navi Rawat), E-Ring (with Dennis Hopper, Benjamin Bratt and Kevin Alejandro), and Justice (with Paul Schulze, Jeffrey Nordling, and Faran Tahir).
From 2006 to 2008, Carta had a recurring role on The Game as Allie. After her appearance in 24, she received another recurring role on the show Victorious as Deanna Vega. She has played the role from 2010 to 2013.
